Among the known errors fixed in iOS 18.0.1 are: temporary failure of the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro touch screens to respond to commands; camera freezes when recording video in macro mode on an ultra-wide-angle camera in 4K format with HDR disabled on the iPhone 16 Pro; The Messages app suddenly closes when replying with a shared Apple Watch watch face; Slow performance on some iPhone models due to a memory allocation issue.
There have been many complaints from device owners about these problems: difficulties with the touch screen have been noted since the release of the iPhone 16 – the display sometimes simply did not respond to touches.
