By the end of the year, the company will produce several dozen electric vehicles, Mr. Sokolov said – the future fate of the model will depend on the demand for it, the availability of charging infrastructure, as well as “the focus of government incentive measures on supporting buyers of truly localized electric vehicles.”

The automaker characterizes the Lada e-Largus model as the first domestic electric car with a domestic battery of deep localization. The car will be produced in both passenger and commercial station wagon formats – they will be presented in versions that differ in different batteries and load capacity. The passenger electric Largus will have a range of 420 km, while the commercial version will have a range of 320 km, depending on the version.

The Lada Izhevsk plant has a full production cycle, including welding, body painting and final assembly. The localization rate of an electric vehicle is more than 50%.
