YouTube channel REWA Technology today published a teardown video of the iPhone 16 Pro, offering a first look at the internal design of the device as soon as it went on sale. Judging by the video, the new product received a battery with a capacity of 3582 mAh (the iPhone 15 Pro had 3274 mAh) in a metal case, while the battery of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is encased in black foil.
Apple previously revealed that all four iPhone 16 models feature internal design changes to improve heat dissipation. Judging by the video, the iPhone 16 Pro body has a larger metal plate for heat dissipation compared to the iPhone 15 Pro. Metal batteries and foil can also help improve heat dissipation.
You can also see in the video that the iPhone 16 Pro has a slightly smaller motherboard compared to the one found in the iPhone 15 Pro, and a few other layout changes.
