Developers from the Canadian Torn Banner Studios, having completed active support for Chivalry 2, switched to the cooperative horror shooter No More Room in Hell 2 and are already ready to announce the release date of the game in early access.
As it became known, the original version of No More Room in Hell 2 will go on sale on October 22 for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) for $30. The announcement was accompanied by a 38-second gameplay teaser trailer.
At launch they promise co-op for eight, a communication system, zombie dismemberment, a non-linear map with a dozen points of interest, melee and ranged weapons, traps, explosives, a variety of enemies and graphics on Unreal Engine 5.
No More Room in Hell 2 Early Access will last at least a year, during which time new features, maps, customization elements, weapons, tools and story content will be gradually added to the game.
The events of No More Room in Hell 2 will unfold in the setting of a zombie apocalypse. Players appear on opposite ends of a huge map and must work together to complete puzzle-like tasks and fend off the living dead.
Gamers will have to adapt to constantly changing conditions, obtain resources to level up their character and remember about death – death in the game is irreversible. The loss of a member permanently affects the effectiveness of the squad.
The game was announced back in 2016 by Lever Games, which released the first No More Room in Hell – a cult mod for Half-Life 2. Since then, the team was acquired by Torn Banner Studios, but its members continue to work on the sequel.
