American publisher GameMill Entertainment, through the IGN portal, presented The Karate Kid: Street Rumble – a 16-bit action game in the style of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, released in 2022.

The events of The Karate Kid: Street Rumble will unfold in the 80s. The game will offer to “relive the famous underdog story” in a “new old-school adventure” based on the original trilogy of films.

Users of The Karate Kid: Street Rumble will be able to take control of Daniel Russo, Mr. Miyagi, Kumiko and Ali Mills. Johnny Lawrence, John Kreese and Terry Silver will oppose them over 12 levels.

The art of karate in The Karate Kid: Street Rumble will be represented by an intuitive and responsive combat system with powerful combos, recognizable moves like the stork kick and defensive maneuvers.

They promise local co-op for four, challenging bosses, iconic locations from classic films, charming pixel art, and a retro-style soundtrack with recognizable melodies.

The Karate Kid: Street Rumble will go on sale on September 20 for PC (Steam page is not yet active), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. The game will cost $40.
