Berlin hosted one of the world’s largest electronics exhibitions, IFA 2024. Among the companies presenting their new products at the exhibition was the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Doogee. The company demonstrated many of the latest models of rugged smartphones. We visited the Doogee stand and here we will tell you more about the new products.
At IFA, Doogee showed off one of its most powerful rugged smartphones, the V40 Pro. The device features a 6.78-inch IPS display with a frequency of 120 Hz. The 4nm Dimensity 7300 chip is responsible for the performance, which is complemented by 16 GB of RAM, expandable up to 20 GB via flash memory, the volume of which is 512 GB. The smartphone supports AI functions, for example, to transcribe telephone conversations and assist in writing texts. The device is also equipped with a 200-megapixel main camera, a 20-megapixel night vision camera and two 8-megapixel modules – one wide-angle, the other with 3x zoom.
Doogee V40 Pro also received a multifunctional additional screen on the back of the case. It displays the time, date, battery status, various static or animated images, as well as notifications. The smartphone meets the standards of protection against moisture and dust, as well as against falls and shocks – IP68, IP69K, and has also successfully passed MIL-STD-810H tests. The device can be located for up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1.5 m without damage, can withstand dust storms and falls from a height of up to 1.5 m. Autonomous operation is provided by a battery with a capacity of 8680 mAh with support for fast charging at 33 W.
Next to the V40 Pro, another interesting V-series smartphone was demonstrated at the Doogee stand – Doogee V Max Plus. Its distinctive feature is a battery with a capacity of 22,000 mAh, which provides up to 1540 hours of operation without recharging in standby mode. The set of cameras is the same as the V40 Pro, with a 200-megapixel main module, but the chip is simpler – Dimensity 7050.
Another new product at the Doogee stand was the rugged S200 smartphone with a futuristic design with aluminum inserts reminiscent of the armor of science-fiction robots. This device also meets IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H standards. A special feature of the new product is a round multifunctional OLED display on the back side, which displays time, date, notifications and other data. The main screen is 6.72-inch IPS with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The Doogee S200 received a 6nm Dimensity 7050 chip, 12 GB of RAM (expandable up to 20 GB) and 256 GB of internal memory. The set of rear cameras includes a 100-megapixel main module, a 20-megapixel night vision camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The device packs a massive 10,100mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. Doogee plans to soon release an improved version of the S200 called S200 Pro with a more powerful processor.
By the way, Doogee is preparing an improved version of the S200 called S200 Pro. The main distinguishing feature of the new product will be a more powerful processor (the model has not yet been specified), while the main characteristics will be the same as the base model. The design will also change somewhat.
Doogee also showed a couple of massive rugged smartphones, the design of which was inspired by the style of cyberpunk – the S punk and S cyber devices. The devices have similar characteristics, including Unisoc T606 chips, 50-megapixel main cameras and 10,800 mAh batteries. The new items differ from each other in design, and the S punk model also boasts a powerful speaker on the rear panel, next to the cameras, which is also equipped with RGB lighting that works in sync with the music. Both smartphones also offer a rugged design and are rated IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H.
Doogee presented at the Berlin exhibition the upcoming rugged smartphones of the Fire 6 series, the distinctive feature of which is the presence of a thermal imager, which complements the 50-megapixel main camera. Unisoc T606 chips and capacious batteries are also used here. The base version of the Fire 6 has a 10,400 mAh battery, while the Doogee Fire 6 Power smartphone has a 15,500 mAh battery.
Doogee has not forgotten about its flagship rugged smartphone DK10 with a designer Kevlar back cover. The device has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chip and 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of flash memory, a 5150 mAh battery with support for very fast charging with a power of 120 W. The device also boasts a 50 MP main camera, a 50 MP wide-angle module with macro photography support, a 64 MP night vision camera and a module with a 16 MP sensor and a telephoto lens.
And in the end, we’ll talk about perhaps the most unusual Doogee rugged smartphones from IFA 2024 – the Blade 10 and Blade 10 Pro models, which are positioned as the thinnest rugged smartphones. However, as a rule, devices that are not afraid of falls, impacts and generally harsh operating conditions are very massive, which some users do not like. But the Blade 10 and Blade 10 Pro offer a durable design that’s just 10.7mm thick, making it easy to pocket or hold in your hand without worrying about dropping or getting splashed with water thanks to IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H protection. .
Blade 10 and Blade 10 Pro received Unisoc T606 processors, 6 GB of RAM expandable up to 16 GB, and 256 GB of flash memory. There is a 50-megapixel rear camera. The battery here is weaker – only 5150 mAh. But for those who find this not enough, Doogee has a Blade 10 Max smartphone with a 10,300 mAh battery in a case only 15.8 mm thick.
