Honor showed the MagicPad 2 tablet computer at IFA 2024 in Berlin, which is positioned as an alternative to the iPad Pro. It has all the data for this: an elegant body, a large, high-quality screen and powerful hardware. Previously, the new product was presented in China, and now the global version has been announced.

Honor MagicPad 2 is powered by the lightweight flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with Adreno 735 graphics, 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in storage. There’s a 13-megapixel (f/2.0) camera on the back, and a 9-megapixel (f/2.2) camera on the front, which is on top when the computer is held horizontally. The manufacturer also notes the thin 5.8 mm body of the device as one of its strengths. The OLED display has a diagonal of 12.3 mm, 3K resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz.

For comfortable typing, the Honor MagicPad 2 can work with an external keyboard called Smart Bluetooth Keyboard. It connects to the tablet via Bluetooth; Its most important advantage is the mechanical chiclet switches, with which typing really becomes comfortable.

Another useful accessory is the Magic Pencil 3 stylus, which, according to Engadget, is quite convenient to work with, but the magnets that secure it in the upper part of the tablet are too strong. Because of this, an inattentive user may fix the stylus in the wrong place, and it may refuse to work at the most inopportune moment.

The battery capacity is an impressive 10,050 mAh, and this resource can be enough for more than one day of work, although the exact result will depend on the intensity of the load. Honor MagicPad 2 will go on sale at a price of €599.
