Larian Studios is set to release the seventh major patch for its fantasy RPG Baladur’s Gate 3 next week. This was announced by studio head Swen Vincke at PAX East.
The large-scale update will add support for user modifications to the game, expanded “evil” endings for Dark Seduction, other characters with backstory and unique heroes. The patch will also add a reworked co-op mode and improvements to the Valor difficulty level.
Sven Vincke also said that custom modifications for Baldur’s Gate 3 will be cross-platform. First, mod support will reach PCs, and after some time it will be implemented on consoles.
Baldur’s Gate 3 left early access on August 3, 2023 on PC (Steam, GOG). A little later, the role-playing game also made it to macOS, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. After the release of the seventh patch, support for the game will not stop immediately – Larian Studios intends to implement cross-play, photo mode and something else for its project.
