Huawei is preparing to release a series of Mate 70 smartphones. The TechBoilers portal has obtained an image of the back of the Mate 70 Pro model, which, as it became known, will be slightly different in design from the previous Mate 60 Pro model. Some characteristics of the new product were also revealed.
According to the leak, the island of the main camera unit will change on the Mate 70 Pro. The new model will still have it round and will be located closer to the central part of the smartphone, but the glass ring of the camera island will be wider than last year’s Mate 60 Pro.
The flash module of the new device has moved from the top of the ring to the bottom. The inscription “AI-DC” appeared on the island, which may indicate improved image processing capabilities using AI.
According to the source, the Mate 70 Pro will receive a new Kirin 9100 processor. The previous model, we recall, is based on the Kirin 9000s, which at one time caused a stir among the American authorities. It is also reported that the main module of the main camera unit of the Mate 70 Pro will be 60-megapixel instead of the 50-megapixel of its predecessor. The main camera block of the device will also include a 12-megapixel sensor for wide-angle shooting and a 48-megapixel sensor with 5x zoom – no changes here compared to last year’s Mate 60 Pro model.
The new smartphone is also credited with a 48-megapixel front camera, which will be paired with a 3D ToF sensor. It will replace the 32-megapixel camera sensor used in the Mate 60 Pro.
