As promised, on August 21, publisher Deep Silver and developers from the Czech Warhorse Studios staged a 25-minute demonstration of their medieval open-world action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Let us remind you that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will throw players into the midst of a civil war in Bohemia in the 15th century. The main character is again Henry from Skalitsa, who still seeks revenge for the death of his loved ones.
As part of the presentation, Henry must recruit two people for his cause. Along the way, the hero manages to smear himself in manure, get involved in a fight, become a victim of a pickpocket, rob an alchemical laboratory and disrupt the hanging process.
«The life of a medieval adventurer is not always one of winning epic battles, rescuing damsels in distress, and determining one’s own destiny. Sometimes you have to look for corpses in a pile of shit behind the Bylan tavern at 7 in the morning,” the authors noted.
The demo showed the mechanics of dialogues, the combat system (enemy shields are now broken under the pressure of attacks) and stealth, the city of Kutna Hora, inventory, horse riding and the world’s reaction to the player’s actions.

In the presentation, the developers played the role of a good guy, but theoretically, Henry can also steal, kill civilians and chickens, walk down the street naked and engage in other lawlessness.
