Polish modder Halk Hogan PL staged a new demonstration of his HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition mod for the fantasy action role-playing game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and also clarified the release date of the project.
Let us remind you that the release of HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition was expected in the second half of 2023, but in the pursuit of the highest quality and graphical improvements unattainable at that time, Halk Hogan PL postponed the mod to 2024.
As it became known, HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition will be released in November. Halk Hogan PL plans to announce the exact release date within a month with the release of the next video demonstrating the improvements.
In the five-minute video that accompanied the announcement, Halk Hogan PL showed what changes the mod will bring to the White Garden: surfaces, materials, objects from the world of wildlife will sparkle with new colors in the HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition.
NextGen Edition is an advanced version of the HD Reworked Project (HDRP) set of improved textures for the updated (after 4.0) and classic (1.32) builds of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Halk Hogan PL notes that although the HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition will be compatible with the old version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the mod version for the current edition of the game will include significantly more improvements.
HDRP has become the most popular mod for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Nexus Mods and was even included in the game’s free next-gen update released in December 2022.
