Realme spoke in detail about the 320W charging technology, the official information about which has been expected for several days. It’s called 320W SuperSonic Charge, and it’s the fastest smartphone charging technology in the world.
The technology developed by the Chinese company allows you to fully charge a smartphone battery in 4 minutes 30 seconds; In a minute, 26% of the charge is achieved, and in two – more than 50%. The solution turned out to be more advanced than the 300 W technology proposed by Redmi, using which a 4000 mAh battery was fully charged in 4 minutes 55 seconds.
Realme did not reveal the capacity of the battery with which it tested its achievement, but explained that the 320W power adapter is called Pocket Cannon – it offers a power density of 3.3 W/cm³, but is similar in size to Realme’s 240W charger. The Power Cannon supports major charging protocols including UFCS (up to 320W), PD and SuperVOOC. It has two USB Type-C ports for simultaneous charging – 150W for Realme smartphones and 65W for compatible laptops.
The company introduced the AirGap voltage transformer – like any other transformer, it provides contactless electromagnetic conversion and ensures that the battery is isolated if a fault occurs, such as an open circuit. To protect the battery, it can reduce the voltage to 20 V. Another new product from Realme is a foldable battery with a capacity of 4420 mAh. It features four cells each less than 3mm thick and offers a 10% increase in capacity compared to traditional designs.
The company demonstrated a new device control – a solid-state button that allows, for example, to instantly zoom an image or handle quick presses. Realme’s new anti-glare screen is modeled after the structure of a moth’s eye, helping to reduce reflectivity by 80% and creating a paper-like texture that’s comfortable when working in bright sunlight. This screen also maintains clear visibility at reduced brightness, reducing power consumption.
AI Motion Picture and AI Gaming Super Resolution technologies deserve attention. AI Motion Picture is powered by NEXT AI to turn still images into 25-frame video, while AI Gaming Super Resolution uses local AI to create smooth, crisp visuals. Finally, Realme Holo Audio allows you to customize the positioning of the sound so that incoming call alerts are not distracting while gaming.
