Following the announcement of the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+ smartphones in July, Realme introduced the base model Realme 13 4G, which, as the name suggests, does not support the 5G standard. However, the new product offers quite advanced equipment and a modern design.
The specifications of the Realme 13 4G are almost identical to those of the Realme 12 4G. The smartphone is based on an eight-core Snapdragon 685 processor produced using a 6nm process technology. The 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM supports virtual expansion by another 8 GB. The capacity of the flash drive is up to 256 GB.
Just like its predecessor, the Realme 13 4G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The brightness indicator is 600 cd/m2, peak brightness is 2000 cd/m2, and 4096 brightness levels are supported. The display provides 98 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner with heart rate measurement function.
The hole-punch at the top of the display houses a front-facing 16MP camera with an f/2.45 aperture for selfies. The main camera includes a 50-megapixel 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 sensor with support for optical stabilization, complemented by a scene depth sensor.
The 5000 mAh battery supports 67W fast wired charging, delivering up to 50% charge in 19 minutes and 100% charge in 47 minutes. The smartphone also has stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio certification and a 3.5 mm audio jack. In terms of protection from moisture and dust, the new product complies with the IP64 standard (Realme 12 4G has a protection category of IP54). The device is available in blue (Skyline Blue) and green (Pioneer Green) colors.
Realme 13 4G will go on sale on August 8th. The price of the model with 8/128 GB of memory will be $185, and the purchase of the version of Realme 13 4G with 8/256 GB of memory will cost $200.
