Currently, the ‌Apple Watch SE‌ is offered for $249, while Samsung’s cheapest competitor, the Galaxy Watch FE, sells for $199.

The new product caused a mixed reaction among users, some of whom argued that the plastic case was a step back compared to the attractive metallic finish of previous models, and some consumers said the price of the device was too high for a product that was perceived as low quality.

In turn, The Verge resource believes that the company can choose fresh color options for children’s plastic smart watches Apple Watch SE, making them even more attractive, despite the use of cheaper materials.
