SpaceX has announced the launch of a new budget tariff plan for Starlink satellite Internet, designed for users who only need the Internet from time to time. The new tariff is suitable for those who travel often or want to have a backup source of communication.

The tariff plan was named Starlink Roam 10GB and became the most affordable among the company’s offers. Its cost is $10 per month. As specified by Notebookcheck, within the framework of this plan, the subscriber receives 10 GB of traffic at maximum speed, after which, if the limit is exceeded, access is paid, and an additional $2 is charged for each 1 GB. The tariff is unlikely to be suitable for constant consumption of large amounts of data, but in certain cases, and especially in emergency situations, it can be indispensable.

Alternatively, SpaceX offers more expensive plans. For example, there is the Starlink Roam 50GB, which, as the name suggests, provides 50 GB of data for $50 per month, while the most expensive option, which includes unlimited data, costs $165 per month.

Despite the update to the pricing line, the prices for the equipment have not changed. The standard Starlink kit still costs around $350 in retail stores, and the Starlink Mini Kit is currently discounted by $120.
