The fan community, languishing in anticipation of the ambitious open-world crime thriller GTA VI, has recreated the map from the upcoming game in the previous installment of the series, Grand Theft Auto V.

The fan project is called Project Vice and was largely created by blogger Dark Space, who announced the map’s release in a recent 50-minute video on his YouTube channel.

The Project Vice modification is available for free. It can be downloaded in both single-player (GTA V Legacy and the recently released GTA V Enhanced) and multiplayer (FiveM) versions.

Of course, at this stage no one really knows what the world of GTA VI will look like in its entirety, so Dark Space had to rely on theories and guesses from the community when creating Project Vice.

The final result, of course, is seriously inferior in terms of development to the creations of Rockstar. For example, in Project Vice there are no vehicles or pedestrians, the map is absolutely flat, many buildings are taken directly from GTA V and have no collision.

At the same time, according to Dark Space, Project Vice allows you to appreciate the scale of the map and “reminds you how crazy GTA VI will be.” The blogger has also already mentally prepared himself for possible claims from Take-Two Interactive.

GTA VI is set to release this fall on PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. The game will take place in the Florida-inspired state of Leonidas, and players will take on the role of criminals Jason and Lucia.
