Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have confirmed Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3. The announcement was accompanied by a 15-second video featuring Lieutenant Demetrius Titus’ menacing gaze on the upcoming game’s logo.
According to a press release accompanying the announcement, “development of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 has officially begun at Focus Entertainment, Saber Interactive and Games Workshop.”
However, don’t count on a quick release. As Games Workshop notes, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 is still a few years away from release. There is no release date, nor a list of target platforms.
Focus said: “Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 will be developed in close collaboration with Games Workshop and will take the genre to the next level with larger-scale battles that are even more spectacular.”
Details on Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 will be shared when the time comes, but for now the developers will focus on post-release support for Space Marine 2 – today, March 13, test servers were launched, and patch 7.0 will be released soon.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 debuted on September 9, 2024 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. The game received high marks from journalists and users, and sales in four months exceeded 6 million copies.
