According to the latest Steam statistics for February, the GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card has become the most popular on the gaming platform. It has displaced the GeForce RTX 3060 model, which has long held the top spot. This may be partly due to the fact that the number of Chinese users on the platform has increased significantly over the past month.

According to the platform, GeForce RTX 4060 is owned by 8.57% of users. Over the month, the card’s popularity has grown by 3.97 p.p. The share of GeForce RTX 3060 owners is 6.87%. It also showed growth in February, but only by 1.67 p.p. In third place with a share of 6.56% is GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, which added 3.11 p.p. last month. The top five most popular video cards are rounded out by GeForce RTX 4070 and GeForce RTX 3070. The first of this pair accounts for 5.43% of users (+2.54 p.p. over the month), and the second – 4.27% of users (+1.33 p.p. in February).

There are still no AMD graphics cards in the top lines of the rating. Even the popularity of the portable Steam Deck console, equipped with Radeon graphics, does not help. All the top places in the rating are occupied by GeForce RTX, leaving behind GeForce GTX models. Only in tenth place is the GeForce GTX 1650 still holding on. But in a month, its share on the platform has decreased to 2.51% (-1.05 p.p.).

Overall, the most popular graphics cards on the Steam platform are still the xx60 and xx70 class accelerators. The platform’s statistics may be very interesting in the coming months, when the Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9060 series graphics cards hit the market. At the moment, the most popular Radeon card is the RX 6600 model (not even the RX 7600).
