Lenovo has unveiled the ThinkBook Codename Flip AI PC Proof of Concept to illustrate its vision for an AI-powered business PC that it says represents the next evolution of adaptive form factors. The device is designed to redefine the way professional users interact with their workflows through dynamic work environments using AI.

The 18.1-inch flip-up OLED display allows users to transition from a compact 13-inch laptop to a vertically extended workspace, optimizing productivity, multitasking, and AI-powered collaboration. The design allows users to easily switch between five different modes, including clamshell mode for traditional laptop tasks, portrait mode for document viewing, sharing mode for dual-screen collaboration, tablet mode for creative workflows, and reading mode.

In multitasking mode, the ThinkBook Codename Flip concept laptop offers a “Split Screen Workspace” feature that allows users to run multiple applications simultaneously, eliminating the need for external monitors.

The device is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, along with 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a PCIe solid-state drive. The backlit Smart ForcePad adds numeric keys and media controls to the ForcePad for intuitive control.

The concept’s specs also include Thunderbolt 4 ports and a fingerprint scanner.
