As a reminder, the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5 was confirmed a month ago and was expected to premiere this spring, along with all the released updates and additions, as well as crossplay support.
As it became known, the PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5 will go on sale on April 29 at a price of $60 for the standard edition, $80 for the extended edition and $100 for the premium edition (with access to the game from April 25). Pre-orders have already opened in foreign PS Stores.
The modes announced are: “Performance” (60 fps) and “Quality” (30 fps). On PS5 Pro, the first mode will have better graphics, and the second will feature ray-traced car reflections in races and free runs.
Forza Horizon 5’s PS5 Early Access launches with the Horizon Realms update, which will allow players to explore a selection of 11 previously released Evolving Worlds and a new race track, Horizon Stadium Circuit.
The nearly 50-second Forza Horizon 5 gameplay trailer (see video above) that coincided with the announcement showcased the new features listed. Horizon Realms will be released on all of the game’s target platforms.
Forza Horizon 5 was published in November 2021 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X, S and Game Pass. The game has earned high (91–92 % on Metacritic) critics assessment. For seven months, the project audience reached 20 million people.
