Xiaomi today unveiled updated Redmi Book Pro 16 and Redmi Book Pro 14 laptops in China. Both devices use the latest Intel Core Ultra 200H (Arrow Lake-H) processors.

Redmi Book Pro 16 and Redmi Book Pro 14 are assembled in metal cases with a thickness of 15.9 mm. The weight of the older model is 1.88 kg, the more compact one is 1.45 kg. Both laptops offer a choice of Intel Ultra 7 255H processors (16 cores, 16 threads, up to 5.1 GHz, Intel Arc graphics on eight Xe cores, 24 MB cache memory) and Intel Ultra 5 225H (14 cores, 14 threads, up to 4.9 GHz, Intel Arc graphics on seven Xe cores, 18 MB cache memory).

Redmi Book Pro 16 has a 16-inch display with a resolution of 3072 × 1920 pixels, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a brightness of 500 cd / m2, and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The Redmi Book Pro 14 model offers a screen with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a brightness of 500 cd / m2, and 100 percent coverage of the sRGB color space. The laptop screens are VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and offer a color accuracy of Delta E ≈ 0.33. In addition, the displays are TÜV Rheinland certified, which confirms the presence of eye protection mechanisms.
Redmi Book Pro 16
According to the manufacturer, the Redmi Book Pro 16, thanks to the move to a new platform, provides up to 21.6% increase in multi-threaded performance compared to the 2024 model. In turn, the Redmi Book Pro 14 has become 18.5% faster in single-threaded performance and up to 28.2% faster in multi-threaded performance than its predecessor. Both laptops can offer up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8400 RAM, 1 TB PCIe 4.0 solid-state drives. In addition, they are equipped with a second M.2 slot for installing an additional SSD.
Redmi Book Pro 16 has a 99 Wh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, will last up to 30 hours of battery life when fully charged. The battery charges up to 54% in 30 minutes thanks to the included 140 W GaN charger, which also supports charging the smartphone up to 120 W. The Redmi Book Pro 14 model is equipped with an 80 Wh battery, which will last up to 31 hours of battery life. The package includes a 100 W GaN charger. It charges the battery up to 51% in 30 minutes and supports charging the smartphone up to 55 W.
The laptops have received updated cooling systems. The Redmi Book Pro 16 model has increased heat dissipation efficiency by 34.4%, and the Pro 14 model has increased it by 10.8%. The laptops are equipped with Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, HDMI 2.1, two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, and a 3.5 mm audio output. The Pro 16 model is declared to support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
