Let us recall that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was released on February 4, and the very next day the developers celebrated 1 million copies sold, calling the release of the game a real triumph for the studio.
As it became known, the mark of 2 million copies sold worldwide was conquered by Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in less than two weeks from its official debut (13 days). Festive illustration is attached.
The developers once again thanked the players for turning Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 into a triumph for the team, and in the comments they assured that they are already working on updates for the game.
According to Embracer (Warhorse’s owner), the game performed particularly well on Steam (with a peak online of over 250,000 concurrent players) and “significantly exceeded expectations” for the launch.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and will be coming to GOG in the spring. The game has earned high marks from critics (88% on Metacritic) and will soon receive official mod support.
The creators of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 have big plans for post-release support: a number of content patches are expected in the spring (hardcore mode, horse racing, etc.), and paid DLC will start coming out in the summer.
