Yandex has introduced a new smart TV — the second-generation TV Station. This is Yandex’s first smart TV with a QLED screen in the mid-price segment. The new product is available with a screen diagonal of 43, 50, 55 and 65 inches, priced from RUB 49,990.

«TV Station QLED received support for AI Picture Quality technology, also implemented in the first generation of TV Stations. It uses AI to optimize the image. According to the company, the neural network analyzes what is happening on the screen and independently changes the settings: improves color rendition, brightness, contrast and detail. Thanks to this, people’s faces look more natural, the colors of nature become more saturated, and architectural details are displayed more clearly. The new technology is available for any films, series and videos that are not protected from copying.
Smart functions based on neural networks also simplify voice control of the TV. According to the manufacturer, the voice assistant “Alice” understands even those commands that she has not been taught, and can also break down complex requests into simple ones and take into account what is happening on the screen. For example, now the voice assistant will understand requests: “Alice, turn on TNT and make it louder” or “Alice, turn off the TV when the movie is over.” In addition, you can now open websites, scroll pages, search for information on the Internet and manage your search history using a voice command – without having to use a remote control or keyboard.
Through the Home with Alice app, parents will be able to set, extend, and reduce TV viewing time for their children, as well as block the exit from the child’s account using a PIN code.
Like other models, TV Station QLED offers the capabilities of a smart speaker and smart TV: listening to music and watching videos, managing a smart home and communicating with Alice.
The TV supports Ultra HD (4K) screen resolution with 450 cd/m² brightness, as well as MEMC and HDR10 technologies. Thanks to KSF QLED technology, the device provides vivid colors when playing any content. Factory white balance calibration is individual for each model, which guarantees high image quality.
The TV’s acoustic system includes four speakers with Dolby Audio support and a total power of 34 W: two broadband and two high-frequency. Yandex engineers have carried out a proprietary sound setup, which ensures high-quality, balanced sound both when listening to music and when watching movies.
In addition, with the release of the QLED TV Station, Yandex has increased the service life of all TV Stations, including previously purchased models, to five years.
