All products, applications and services of DeepSeek are subject to immediate removal from state systems for national security reasons, said the Minister of Internal Affairs of Australia Tony Burke. The assessment of the threats traveled by the country’s special services showed that the decisions of the Chinese company represent an unacceptable risk, the official said.
The startup Deepseek, which started work only 20 months ago, in January became a sensation by releasing a mobile application with a chat bout based on the reasoning AI-when solving problems, the system shows the course of the “thought process”. The company assures that she spends extremely small amounts on training her models of AI. The application was in the leaders of world download ratings. But there are some doubts about the security of the service.
«AI is a technology full of potential and capabilities, but the government will not hesitate when our organs find a threat to national security, ”says Mr. Borker’s statement.
