The Chinese company Deep Robotics from Hangzhou distributed a video of the Robops “Lynx” (Lynx) in the crossed terrain. Robops have become a popular area for development, promising to become a new word in the protection of objects and in rescue operations. But in addition to artificial intelligence, the Lynx robot has another advantage over living dogs – it combines the movement on four limbs with movement on wheels.

Robopes is able to block wheels for a while and climbing. This technique is also used to perform various acrobatic tricks. Class IP54 protection provides it with the possibility of safe movement through water and dust. To overcome the obstacles, Robopyos can jump, and narrow places can pass, standing only on one leg (wheel).

Something similar was recently shown by Unitree Robotics, also, by the way, from Hanzhou. Her robot B2 turned out to be the same good acrobat and just as cleverly moved around the crossed terrain. In some way, Chinese developers headed the direction of robotics imitating the movement of people and animals. But the world needs not tricks or robots with an elegant gait, but firefighters, rescuers and fighters.
