As it became known, Plaion (Koch Media until August 2022), an Austrian publisher that owns Deep Silver, Prime Matter and Ravenscourt, and also belongs to the Embracer Group holding, will help release Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.

No new footage from Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was presented at the publisher’s announcement, but Plaion and Skydance confirmed that the release is still expected in 2025 and will be multi-platform.

In a press release, Skydance called Plaion an “ideal” partner for the release of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, and the publisher described the project as “one of the most anticipated AAA games in development.”

«“The world-class talent of Skydance Games and the publishing capabilities of Plaion are a great combination to ensure that we can meet the enormous expectations placed on the game,” Marvel Games believes.

In the story, a team of four heroes – Captain America (Steve Rogers), Black Panther (Azzuri), Gabriel Jones and Nanaly – will have to fight the terrorist organization Hydra during World War II.

They promise a completely original story, the opportunity to play for all four characters at different stages of the plot, the spirit of adventure familiar to Marvel fans and graphics on the Unreal Engine 5.
