The original Power Zone power supply series was released in 2013. It stood out not only by the name atypical for that time, but also by the fact that it was the first (and for a long time the only) BP series from Be Quiet! With a single power power line of 12 V., the updated series of power units Power Zone 2 follows this tradition, but at the same time offers new progressive functions.
Power Zone 2 is the first series of BP BE Quiet! With semi -passive cooling. Until a certain load or temperature of the components, modified by a 140-mm fan Pure Wings 3 as part of the power cooling system, will not be reached, will remain motionless. The launch curve of the fan is relatively flat, in order to avoid irritating changes in the noise level. When the level of energy consumption by the system or the need for cooling is reduced, the fan continues to operate from 2 to 5 minutes to avoid unnecessary inclusion and off.
Power Zone 2 power supply units correspond to the specifications of the ATX 3.1 power standard and are equipped with a native 12V-2 × 6 connector capable of up to 600 watts to the PCIe 5.1 standard. In addition, the PSU offer three PCIe 6+2 connectors. The 12V-2 × 6 cable is equipped with a connector with an angle of 90 ° at one end for a more convenient and neat cable laying.
