The ability to save videos from Rutube to a local drive has appeared for users of the service on devices running Android. The TASS news agency writes about this with reference to data from the video hosting press service.

«National video hosting Rutube has launched a new feature on devices with the Android operating system. In the new version of the mobile application, users can download the videos they like and watch them offline,” said a representative of the Rutube press service.
According to available data, video hosting users will be able to download videos to their devices whose authors have activated the corresponding option in the settings of the Studio application. Videos downloaded in this way will be available for offline viewing for 30 days, after which they will be automatically deleted. Please note that without a subscription, a user can download only one video of any length. To download more content you will have to subscribe.
