Renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A series smartphone have leaked onto the Internet. The new Galaxy A06 model will replace last year’s A05 in the signature Key Island design, with a USB-C port and 5000 mAh batteries. The device has already received almost all the necessary certificates, including FCC, SIRIM, BIS, WiFi-Alliance and others.
According to Gizmochina, citing well-known insider Onleaks, the Galaxy A06 will have a flat frame and the signature Key Island design element, characteristic of this year’s Galaxy A smartphones, integrated on the right. There will also be volume buttons and a power button with a built-in fingerprint scanner.
On the back panel you can see two vertically positioned camera modules and an LED flash. On the front, the Galaxy A06 will feature an Infinity-U display with a U-shaped waterdrop notch. The USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and speaker grille are located on the bottom panel. Onleaks showed a smartphone in black.
The smartphone is expected to feature a large 6.7-inch display, likely with HD+ resolution, and will measure 167.3 x 77.9 x 8.0 mm. At the same time, Geekbench data indicates the possible use of a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and 6 GB of RAM, although other configurations may be available at the time of release.
