Asus has announced the addition of the first 18-inch model to its TUF Gaming range of gaming laptops. The new product will be available in three configurations. Two of them are equipped with an eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 260 (Hawk Point Refresh) processor with a frequency of up to 5.1 GHz, and the third is equipped with a 24-core (8P + 16E) Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX with a frequency of up to 5.4 GHz. All models are also equipped with video cards from the GeForce RTX 5000 series.

The TUF Gaming A18 laptop model offers up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and up to 2 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. The device features an 18-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2.5K (2560 × 1600 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The display is available in two configurations. Models with AMD Ryzen offer a screen with a refresh rate of 240 or 165 Hz, a response speed of 3 ms, brightness of 400 or 500 cd/m², as well as 100% coverage of DCI-P3 or sRGB color spaces and G-Sync support. The Intel version features a 400 cd/m² screen with 100 percent sRGB coverage and G-Sync support.

All TUF Gaming A18 configurations offer a GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card as a graphics subsystem. AMD models are equipped with a 240 W power supply, and the Intel version is equipped with a 280 W power supply. All new products are equipped with batteries with a capacity of 90 Wh.

The laptops have one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port (with DisplayPort, charging and G-Sync support) and HDMI 2.1. Models with AMD Ryzen offer one USB4 Type-C with support for DisplayPort and G-Sync, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A and one USB 2.0 Type-A. And the version with Intel Core Ultra, instead of USB4, has a Thunderbolt 4 interface in the form of a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort support, as well as three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A. All devices are equipped with a LAN port and support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Laptop keyboards are equipped with RGB backlighting.
