The Chinese company Tencent presented a prototype of a portable game console called 3D One. However, calling it portable would be a stretch, since the device is equipped with a huge 11-inch display by the standards of portable devices.

The screen supports a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The 3D One console is equipped with removable gamepads, as well as eye-tracking technology for a deeper immersion in the gameplay.

The device is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor from the latest Lunar Lake series. The chip includes four high-performance Lion Cove cores and four energy-efficient Skymont cores. Graphics processing is handled by the integrated Intel Arc 140V graphics processor based on Xe2-LPG architecture. The console received 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM and a 1 TB solid-state drive.

To date, only two manufacturers have presented their portable gaming consoles based on Intel Lunar Lake processors. The second is MSI, which announced the MSI Claw 8 AI Plus console, which is expected to go on sale next year.

Tencent 3D One packs a massive battery with support for 100W fast charging. The company does not indicate the exact battery capacity, nor the battery life. The weight of the device is also unknown, but it can hardly be called light.

Removable console controllers can be replaced with a plug-in keyboard. Considering that the device is powered by a Lunar Lake chip, it is very likely that Windows 11 or some custom Linux distribution is used as the operating system.

Tencent is considering 3D One as an experimental product. The company has not said whether it plans to release the device for sale.
