A major update of the T-Bank mobile application was released, including a marketplace called “Shopping”, a social network for communicating bank clients with each other, as well as services for real estate and car valuations. The iOS version of the T-Bank application was updated on November 25, and Android device users began receiving the update in mid-November.
The media wrote about T-Bank’s plans to launch an online sales service for goods in the middle of the year, but then a company representative said that we were not talking about a marketplace “in the literal sense.” Now the “Shopping” service has been introduced, which is integrated into the mobile application and is a showcase with an assortment of different market players in a single window. It assumes the presence of large and niche marketplaces, as well as mono-brand players. When searching for products, the service provides offers from all connected sites at once.
At this stage, T-Bank is focused on working with independent players in the e-commerce market. Already, “Shopping” provides access to goods from more than 40 partners, including Rive Gauche, M.Video-Eldorado, Ekonika, Tom Tailor, etc. Partners are connected through bank managers; in the future, other Internet services will be able to integrate into the platform. shops and large sellers on marketplaces.
Sellers will store and deliver goods, and the bank plans to make money on a commission, the amount of which is not disclosed. At the moment, customers need to make purchases on the partner’s side, but soon they will be able to pay for orders directly in the bank’s mobile application. The service will also provide cashback for product categories and individual brands in monetary terms.
In addition to this, the partner loyalty program, current sales and discounts will be maintained. You can pay for purchases in one click with a bank card or through the T-Pay service; payment in installments through the BNPL service “Shares” and installments are supported. The service is integrated into the T-Bank advertising platform through a personal account, from which you can manage sales and products.
A social network has also appeared in the T-Bank application, as well as “Spheres” – sections about “money-related matters around a person.” For example, “Sphere Home” combines services related to home and everyday life: payments for housing and communal services, Internet, etc., and in “Sphere Auto” you can pay for fuel, fines, apply for a car loan, etc.
