ZTE has announced the mid-price smartphone Blade V70. Despite the official announcement, some characteristics of the new product, as well as its retail price, remained a mystery.

The developers equipped the new product with a 6.7-inch LCD display with support for a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There is a hole-punch at the top of the display that houses the 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The triple main camera is complemented by an LED flash and is located in a square module on the back of the case. It is based on a 1/1.67-inch 108 MP sensor with support for phase detection autofocus. The manufacturer did not disclose the characteristics of the other two camera modules.

It is also unknown which microprocessor became the hardware basis of the smartphone. The manufacturer only said that an eight-core chip with an operating frequency of 2.0 GHz is used. In addition to this, there is 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Autonomous operation is ensured by a 5000 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 22.5 W. A USB Type-C connector is provided to replenish energy.

The Blade V70 is equipped with a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated into the power button on the side of the case. The software platform uses Android 14 with the proprietary ZTE MyOS 14 interface. The device will be available in green, gray and gold body colors. Deliveries of the smartphone are expected to begin next month.
