X owner, Tesla CEO, SpaceX CEO and Neuralink CEO Elon Musk is a busy man, but still finds time to play Diablo IV, where he claims to be in the top 20.
One of the richest people on the planet spoke about his achievements in the role-playing action game from Blizzard Entertainment during a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience show (from the very first seconds).
According to Musk, he is among the top 20 Diablo IV players worldwide and one of only two Americans in the top 20. The remaining places are occupied by representatives of eastern countries.
Many doubted the veracity of Musk’s words and decided that the billionaire was taking credit for non-existent merits, but this is not true (at least in part). The businessman achieved his success in the Pit of Masters, an endgame dungeon in Diablo IV.
The Pit of Masters is a multi-level, randomly generated dungeon. The unofficial Helltides portal maintains a leaderboard for speed through the Pit, and Musk is in 20th place with a time of 2:45.
Co-owner of Helltides under the nickname Fayz, in an interview with The Verge, called Musk’s statement justified, although he acknowledged the limitations of the platform: there are only 900 people in the unofficial rating, while there are many, many more Diablo IV players.
Musk was not the first billionaire to claim outstanding gaming achievements: Meta✴ CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently said that he would defeat anyone who challenged him in the Sid Meier’s Civilization strategy series.
