Honor has introduced its flagship smartphones Magic7 and Magic7 Pro – one of the first devices powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor running the previously introduced MagicOS 9.0 on Android 15.
Honor Magic7 is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with PWM 4320 Hz, the LTPO matrix provides a dynamic change in the refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, HDR Vivid is present, the peak brightness is 5000 cd/m²; Honor Magic7 Pro has a 6.8-inch display diagonal, a punch-through cutout with a function similar to Dynamic Island, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. There is a TÜV Rheinland certificate confirming that the screen has eye protection. The older phone features 3D face unlocking.
Both devices are equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, RAM capacity is 12 or 16 GB, and internal storage capacity ranges from 256 GB to 1 TB. The manufacturer promises that heating remains at an acceptable level – no higher than 44.8 °C when running resource-intensive games like Genshin Impact.
There is a round camera block on the back panel. The younger smartphone has three 50-megapixel cameras: the main one with an Ultra-Dynamic Eagle Eye sensor, an ultra-wide-angle and a camera with a telephoto lens; The front one also has a 50-megapixel resolution. The older one’s main camera is the Super Dynamic Honor Falcon Camera H9000 HDR with a variable aperture (f/1.4–f/2.0), and instead of a telephoto camera there is a periscopic one with a resolution of 200 megapixels and support for 100x zoom taking into account digital . The high-quality operation of the hardware is ensured by the Honor Image Engine 3.0 system – it helps to balance light and shadow, improve the quality of portrait photography and optimize the scaled image, there is a Harcourt Portrait mode.
The younger Honor Magic7 is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 5650 mAh, the older Magic7 Pro has a battery capacity of 5850 mAh; in both cases, fast wired (100 W) and wireless (80 W) charging are supported. The Chinese manufacturer equipped the devices with silicon-carbon batteries, adding silicon to the carbon anode, which helped increase capacity. The surround sound and housing protection according to the IP68/69 standard have become better and more powerful. In both cases, the case has a USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and satellite navigation are supported, and there is an NFC module. There is support for satellite communication: the Honor Magic7 has it limited to the ability to send messages, and the Magic7 Pro offers calls with “AI noise reduction”.
The Honor Magic7 smartphone has dimensions of 162.1 × 75.8 × 7.95 and weighs 199 g; it is available in Sunrise Gold, Moon Shadow Gray, Snowy White, Sky Blue and Velvet Black colors – in four configurations: 12/256 GB for 4499 yuan ($632), 12/512 for 4799 yuan ($674), 16/512 GB for 4999 yuan ($702) and 16/1024 GB for 5499 yuan ($772).
Honor Magic7 Pro dimensions are 162.7 × 77.1 × 8.8 mm, weight – 223 g. Available colors: Moon Shadow Gray (gray), Snowy White (white), Sky Blue (blue) and Velvet Black (black ). Available configurations and corresponding prices: 12/256 GB for 5699 yuan ($800), 16/512 GB for 6199 yuan ($870) and 16/1024 GB for 6699 yuan ($940). Acceptance of pre-orders starts today, and Honor Magic7 and Magic7 Pro will go on public sale on November 8.
Honor also promised that it will release the Magic7 Pro in a Porsche Design version. This smartphone borrows some design elements from the Taycan Turbo S sports car, and externally the gadget is distinguished not by the round, but by the hexagonal shape of the camera unit. A nitride-oxide coating on the case is also promised for protection against scratches. The cost of Honor Magic7 Pro Porsche Design has not yet been specified.
