Asus has released the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super TUF Gaming OG video card, which differs from other RTX 4070 Ti Super by using a stripped-down version of the AD102 GPU instead of the usual AD103. Let us recall that the full-fledged AD102 is used as part of the flagship RTX 4090 video card.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super TUF Gaming OG also uses a printed circuit board from the RTX 4090. However, there are fewer GDDR6X memory chips soldered here, as well as significantly fewer VRM power subsystem components. In addition, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super TUF Gaming OG is equipped with a cooling system from the previous generation flagship GeForce RTX 3090. Compared to the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super TUF Gaming OC (AD103) cooling system, it is 2 cm longer and 0.2 cm lower , but still takes up 3.2 expansion slots.
For the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super TUF Gaming OG graphics processor with 8448 CUDA cores, a Boost frequency of 2610 MHz is declared in standard operating mode and 2640 MHz in overclocking mode (OC). The card has 16 GB of GDDR6X memory with a speed of 21 Gbps per pin with support for a 256-bit bus.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super TUF Gaming OG is already on sale. The new product was found at the Western retailer Newegg for $809.99, which is $40 cheaper than the RTX 4070 Ti Super TUF Gaming OC model based on the AD103 GPU.
