HMD is gearing up to unveil a new Sage smartphone that will continue to build on the design concept behind the HMD Skyline that debuted in July. The leaked renders show a design inspired by the Lumia series smartphones, with a rounded glass back and a polycarbonate frame.
The HMD Sage, like its brother the HMD Skyline, continues the design tradition of the Lumia series. The device will have a curved glass back panel that seamlessly connects with the polycarbonate frame, forming a solid body. On the back panel of the smartphone there is a rectangular camera block with two sensors of 50 megapixels each, which emphasizes the laconic design of the future new product.
According to the leaked specifications, the HMD Sage screen is a 6.55-inch OLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be equipped with a Unisoc T760 processor. In addition, the smartphone will offer 33W fast charging.
For the convenience of users, HMD Sage is equipped with NFC for contactless payments, a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones and has IP52 protection, which means basic protection of the smartphone from dust and splashing water.
