The OLED monitor market will receive an impetus for development with the release of 31.5-inch models. Panel manufacturers are improving their features and differentiating their products, and several gaming brands are aggressively releasing new models to capture their market share. By the end of 2024, the volume of supplies of OLED monitors will increase by 181% in annual terms and amount to 1.44 million units, TrendForce analysts predict.
The first place is expected to be taken by Samsung, which has strong sales of 49-inch OLED monitors and is steadily releasing new models. Asus intends to significantly expand the supply of OLED monitors in 2024, focusing on high-end products – the company will fight with Dell for third place in the world.
MSI is actively expanding its sales channels, thanks to which it has managed to significantly increase the supply of monitors – the company has the highest growth rates in all categories. The company will show the highest growth rates in the OLED monitor market, where it will occupy up to 11% and become fifth in the world. The sixth with new models will be Gigabyte. QD-OLED models will dominate the market – this is facilitated by the intensive expansion of production by Samsung Display and other brands that have products of this type in their arsenal. QD-OLED’s share of total OLED monitor shipments is expected to increase from 53.5% in 2023 to 73% in 2024. At the same time, the share of WOLED will decrease to 26%, and RGB OLED will be limited to 1%.
