For the second week in a row, the 3D fighting game Dragon Ball: Sparking tops the Steam sales chart! Zero by Spike Chunsoft. Its closest competitor was another Japanese novelty in anime style – the action role-playing game Metaphor: ReFantazio from Atlus.

Following the official online premiere of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero reached 122,554 users. The number of reviews on Steam increased to 23.3 thousand, but the rating remained the same as it was in extended access (93%). In the first 24 hours after release, Bandai Namco sold more than 3 million copies of the game.

Metaphor: ReFantazio, which also received “very positive” reviews (91% based on 3.4K reviews), attracted 85,961 concurrent users at its peak. The role-playing action game from the team behind Persona 5 was among the best releases of the year according to Metacritic ratings.

Other events on the chart:

  • Thanks to discounts (the promotions have ended), the farm life simulator Stardew Valley (seventh line) and the interactive drama Detroit: Become Human (ninth), the sales of which, six years after its release, reached 9 million copies (the second also set a new online record of its own) returned to the top ten 21,221 people);
  • Diablo IV also updated its personal record for the number of concurrent users (55,561), which last week broke into the top 10 thanks to the release of the Vessel of Hatred add-on;
  • The exciting multiplayer action game Liar’s Bar (new last week) also reached a new height (82,780 concurrent players) – it added 34 positions and became eighth;
  • The pre-order of Red Dead Redemption (released on October 29) was in 44th place.
