Although there are still almost five and a half months left until the end of 2024, Valve has already announced what official events and sales will be held on the Steam site in the first half of 2025.
Every year, Valve holds four major seasonal sales on Steam, three “Gaming to Be” demo festivals, and many thematic promotions (festivals) dedicated to projects of different genres.
So early, Valve decided to share the schedule of events for the first half of next year for the convenience of potential participants. Last time, a similar announcement was divided into two publications – in September and December.
The official Steam event schedule for the first half of 2024 is as follows:
- Real-time strategy festival – from January 20 to 27;

- Festival of local cooperatives – from February 10 to 17;
- February festival “Playing to Be” – from February 24 to March 3;
- Visual novel festival – from March 3 to 10;
- Spring Sale on Steam – from March 13 to March 20;

Valve promised to share the schedule of events planned for the second half of 2025 later. The last time a similar announcement was made two and a half months later.
As always, Valve reserves the right to revise the schedule or participating events, however, such adjustments after the schedule presentation are infrequent.
As for the rest of 2024, there’s a fighting game festival happening on Steam right now (ends July 22), and the next major seasonal sale (fall) is scheduled for November 27 to December 4.
