Last month, Oppo introduced the Reno12 F 5G, a mid-range smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, an OLED screen and a 50-megapixel main camera. Today the company announced the Reno12 F model based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 with a frequency of up to 2.8 GHz without 5G support.

For a more affordable version of the device, the manufacturer will offer an additional color for the case. To the existing options Amber Orange (orange) and Olive Green (green), a Matte Gray version (gray) has been added. Reno12 F 4G received 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers 256 or 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Unlike the Reno12 F 5G, which claims to support Bluetooth 5.3, the Reno12 F 4G model supports an older version of the Bluetooth 5.0 standard.
The remaining specifications of the Reno12 F 4G are identical to the 5G model. The smartphone has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a set of 50-megapixel, 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel cameras on the back, as well as a 32-megapixel camera on the front. Support for shooting video in 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second is stated for the main and front cameras.
The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with support for 45 W fast charging. The version of the Android operating system is not named, but the proprietary ColorOS 14.0.1 shell is installed on top of it with support for the AI functions AI Recording Summary, AI Summary for summarizing text, AI Writer and AI Speak.
The manufacturer did not disclose the cost of Reno12 F 4G.
