Ugreen has announced NASync iDX6011 and iDX6011 Pro network storage devices based on the Intel Meteor Lake hardware platform. A special feature of the new products is the presence of a built-in large language model (LLM), which supports the operation of a number of AI functions.

The devices are made in a desktop form factor. They are equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor with 14 cores (4P+8E+2LPE; 18 threads; up to 4.5 GHz). The chip includes the Intel AI Boost AI unit. In addition, there is an Intel Arc graphics node.

NAS are equipped with six front bays for LFF drives with a SATA-3 interface. In addition, there are two connectors for NVMe SSD. The total capacity can reach 160 TB. The devices have two 10GbE network ports, an HDMI interface, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 connectors and an SD card slot.

The NASync iDX6011 version is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 (40 Gbps) interfaces on the front panel, while the NASync iDX6011 Pro received two USB Type-C ports without Thunderbolt certification. At the same time, the Pro version has an OCuLink connector on the back. This model is also equipped with a small information display.

Based on LLM, smart search tools are implemented in repositories. AI can also perform tasks such as abstracting documents, transcribing audio recordings, generating answers to various questions, etc. Smart Image Recognition can recognize text, objects, animals and faces in images. The Semantic Search tool allows you to quickly search for photos using simple and natural descriptions. NASync iDX6011 and iDX6011 Pro storage will go on sale later this year.
