ADATA Industrial has announced industrial-grade DDR5-6400 RAM modules of the CU-DIMM (Clocked Unbuffered DIMM) and CSO-DIMM (Clocked Small Outline DIMM) standards. The products are designed for use in harsh conditions. They can be used in equipment for data centers, AI devices for edge computing, transport systems, IoT devices, etc.

The modules operate at a voltage of 1.1 V. Regardless of the form factor, options with a capacity of 8, 16 and 32 GB are available. It talks about ECC support. ADATA offers modifications with a standard and extended temperature range: in the first case it extends from 0 to +95 °C, in the second – from -40 to +95 °C.

TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) technology is implemented, providing protection against voltage surges. A special conformal coating helps minimize the negative impact of environmental factors: elevated temperatures, moisture, pollution, chemicals and mechanical stress.

At the customer’s request, protection against sulfonation can be added. It is noted that in an environment with a high concentration of sulfur under certain conditions (high temperatures, humidity and pollution), various types of sulfur compounds can be formed, which affect the silver alloys in DRAM chips. This can lead to module failure. ADATA offers appropriate protection to solve the problem.
