Oppo has launched an advertising campaign in preparation for the announcement of the Find N5 foldable smartphone, which will be the successor to the Oppo Find N3 released in 2023. The announcement of the new product, according to Oppo, will take place in February.

Oppo CEO Pete Lau published a teaser image on his page on the Weibo social network, indicating a key feature of the new product – a thin body. As the head of Oppo promises, Find N5 will be the thinnest foldable flagship smartphone on the market.

According to rumors, when unfolded, the Find N5 will have a thickness of 3.5–4 mm. The Find N3 is only 5.8mm thick when unfolded and 11.7mm when folded. Currently, the thinnest foldable smartphone is the Honor Magic V3 with a thickness of 4.35 mm when unfolded. The advertising image clearly shows that the new product is approximately twice as thin as a pencil, which is usually made with a diameter of about 7 mm.

Oppo Find series product manager Zhou Yibao also shared information that the Find N5 will feature a titanium alloy hinge.
