Xiaomi has released global versions of Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ with curved displays, 200 MP cameras and prices starting from €300

In September, Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 14 line of smartphones in China; they have only now reached Europe. Topping the lineup are their Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ variants, which go on sale at prices ranging from €300 to €550.

The older model is the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ – it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, which promises some performance gains compared to the Dimensity 7200 Ultra that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ had. The phone is available in several configurations, starting from 8/256 GB. The most powerful one offers 12 GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and 512 GB of storage (UFS 2.2). Redmi Note 14 Pro+ features a 6.67-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels. It displays 12-bit color with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+, peak brightness is 3000 cd/m², PWM brightness control is up to 1920 Hz. The screen has a protective coating of Gorilla Glass Victus 2, on the back panel there is Gorilla Glass 7i (for Frost Blue and Midnight Black) or vegan leather (Lavender Purple). The case is protected according to the IP68 standard.

Redmi Note 14 Pro+ boasts a 200-megapixel camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor, 2x and 4x zoom and optical stabilization; it is complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The front camera has a 20-megapixel resolution; Dual Video function is supported – recording from the rear and front cameras simultaneously. The battery capacity is 5110 mAh, supports 120-watt charging; In some regions, a charger of this power is included in the kit.

The base Redmi Note 14 Pro is available in 4G and 5G variants, powered by MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra and Dimensity 7300 Ultra chips. Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is more similar to the older model: it has the same curved 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 1220 × 2712 pixels, the same 20-megapixel front camera and the same 5110 mAh battery, but the maximum charging power is 45 Tue.

Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G is also equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED display, but with a more modest resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels; it has the same Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, but the body is IP64 rated—splash-resistant, but not submersible. The screen supports 10-bit color and does not support Dolby Vision and HDR10+; peak brightness is 1800 cd/m². The front camera has a 32-megapixel resolution. In both cases, the cameras on the main unit on the rear panel are the same as the older model: 200-megapixel main, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 2-megapixel for macro photography.

All Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ have two SIM card slots; Models with 5G also have eSIM, but the only Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G has a memory card slot, but it is a hybrid one – you have to choose between an external drive and a SIM card. Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is available in 8/256 and 12/512 GB configurations for €500 and €550 respectively; younger models are offered only in the 8/256 GB version: Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G costs €400, and Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G costs €300.
