Xiaomi has introduced the mid-price smartphone Redmi Note 14 for the international market. It will be available in two versions – one will be limited to supporting only 4G networks, and the other will also be able to work in more modern 5G networks.

The Redmi Note 14 5G smartphone for the global market is equipped with a 6nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra processor with a frequency of 2.5 GHz and an IMG BXM-8-256 graphics accelerator. In this way, it is similar to its Indian and Chinese namesakes, which differ from each other. The RAM capacity of the new product is 6, 8 or 12 GB, and the flash drive capacity is 128, 256 or 512 GB.

The new product has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, which supports a peak brightness of 2100 cd/m2. Protection from damage is provided by durable Gorilla Glass 5. A 20-megapixel front camera is located at the top of the display. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner. On the back panel there is a main 108-megapixel camera with support for optical stabilization, complemented by an 8-megapixel camera with wide-angle optics and a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography.

The power source is a 5110 mAh battery with support for 45 W fast wired charging. The device is protected from moisture and dust according to the IP64 standard, and also has a 3.5 mm audio jack. The smartphone comes with HyperOS based on Android 14 with a range of AI features including AI Erase, AI Sky and AI Beautify, as well as the Gemini AI app pre-installed.

Redmi Note 14 5G will be available in black, purple and coral green colors. The cost of the version with 8 and 256 GB of memory in Europe will be €300. Prices for other modifications will be announced a little later.

In turn, Redmi Note 14 4G is based on a 6nm eight-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor. The smartphone is equipped with the same 20-megapixel front camera, and the main camera includes a 108-megapixel sensor without optical image stabilization, complemented by 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors.

Redmi Note 14 4G has the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, protected by Gorilla Glass, but its peak brightness is slightly lower – 1800 cd/m2. The display is certified by TUV Rheinland to reduce levels of eye-harming blue light.

Redmi Note 14 4G is slightly larger than the 5G model and has a larger 5500 mAh battery with support for 33W fast wired charging. The smartphone is protected from dust and splashes according to the IP54 standard, and also has a 3.5 mm audio jack. The device is powered by HyperOS based on Android 14 with some basic AI features.

Redmi Note 14 4G comes in black, purple, blue or lime green colors with a memory configuration of at least three options – 6 and 128, 8 and 128 and 8 and 256 GB. The cost of the basic version is €200, and the price of the version with 8 and 128 GB of memory is €230.
