Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be longer than the first part – journalists found out how long it will take to complete

The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance cannot be called a short game by any stretch of the imagination, but the upcoming Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 looks like it will be even longer.

The German publication GameStar asked the developers from Warhorse Studios how long it would take users of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to complete the future game.

For comparison: according to the statistical portal How Long to Beat, the central story of the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance can be completed in 40 hours. It will take twice as long if you are distracted by side quests.

According to the creators’ preliminary estimate, the average passage of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can take from 80 to 100 hours. The exact timing will largely depend on your playing style.

Those who are going to move strictly according to the plot should free up about 50-60 hours of free time, and those who want to complete all side quests and slowly explore the world – 120 hours or more.

It was previously reported that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be twice the size of the first part in terms of the size of the game world and the volume of the script – in the case of the sequel, it is estimated at 2.2 million words (approximately 11 thousand printed pages).

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be released on February 4, 2025 on PC (Steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Along with the December story trailer, Warhorse finally presented the system requirements of the game.
