Chinese brands Machenike and Mechrevo presented the world’s most powerful gaming laptops. They are equipped with high-performance Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processors with 3D V-Cache and GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards.
Most of the gaming laptops showcased at CES 2025 that feature GeForce RTX 5090 mobile graphics cards tend to come with an Intel Core Ultra 200HX processor or, in rare cases, an AMD Ryzen AI HX 370 processor. However, systems based on the powerful Ryzen 9 9955HX gaming processors are at best offer a choice between GeForce RTX 5080 and RTX 5070.
Truly impressive configurations of gaming laptops, combining desktop-grade mobile processors Ryzen 9000HX or Ryzen 9000X3D and the flagship mobile graphics card GeForce RTX 5090 with 24 GB of memory, were announced by Chinese companies Machenike and Mechrevo. The video card is based on a GB203 graphics processor with 10,496 CUDA cores and three-gigabyte GDDR7 memory chips.
An external liquid cooling system will be optionally offered for the Mechrevo laptop, allowing you to use the laptop in UltraBoost mode with a maximum TDP of 280 W. The power consumption of the Machenike laptop, in turn, will be up to 230 W. The mobile GeForce RTX 5090 has a TDP of 150 W, but the video card supports Dynamic Boost technology, which allows it to use up to 175 W of power to provide even higher performance. The Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor has a nominal TDP of 55 W, but under certain loads it will most likely require much more power. Machenike says it will provide 125W of power headroom for the processor.
The laptops announced by the Chinese brands will also offer QHD screens with Mini-LED backlighting and a refresh rate of up to 300 Hz, up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and NVMe PCIe 5.0 drives.
It is quite clear that these laptops from Machenike and Mechrevo will be ultra-premium gaming systems, offering unprecedented levels of performance, but at the same time having a significant weight and, probably, almost no battery life, despite using batteries up to 99 Wh. Both laptops will initially be offered only in the Chinese market. It’s even scary to imagine the cost of new products.
