Palit, known as a manufacturer of video cards, introduced Pandora, a compact computer designed to work with artificial intelligence systems, which is based on the Nvidia Jetson Orin NX Super platform.

The Palit Pandora AI computer is available in configurations with 8 and 16 GB of memory – they offer performance of 117 and 157 TOPS, respectively. The device will prove useful in scenarios where there is a need to run AI applications locally with high performance. It boasts compact dimensions of 123 x 145 x 66 mm and weighs 470 g. This computer can be installed in environments where space is limited, where performance and efficiency are critical.

The device is equipped with an active cooling system, which will ensure stable operation when running resource-intensive tasks. Palit Pandora may be in demand in intelligent retail systems, education, robotics and generative AI.

The computer is equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB with OTG support, one HDMI 2.0 and an audio jack. The kit includes a 128 GB SSD, and there are four M.2 slots on board for connecting additional modules, including Wi-Fi and 5G/LTE. For robotics, automotive and industrial systems, MIPI inputs, an optional 14-pin UART and CAN bus interfaces are provided.

Palit Pandora can be easily integrated into any equipment; an alternative computer case can be printed on a 3D printer. The kit comes with an application for centralized device management, which allows you to monitor their operation in real time and, if necessary, troubleshoot problems.

The manufacturer has proposed several scenarios for using Palit Pandora. Using a visual language model (VLM) and generative AI, the computer is able to analyze customer demographics in real time and serve them relevant ads on a digital screen – something that will prove useful in retail. Object recognition and text-to-speech systems will help in the operation of intelligent educational platforms.

The computer supports integration with the Nvidia Isaac platform and ROS2 – it can work with robotics, on robotic assembly lines, with warehouse automation systems and autonomous navigation. Pandora handles generative AI workloads, with Nvidia’s software tools enabling it to run natural language query processing, content generation and computer vision models.
