Following recent rumors, Microsoft has officially announced the Developer_Direct presentation, which will talk about hotly anticipated games coming out in 2025 for PC, Xbox and Game Pass.
Developer_Direct will be dedicated to four projects: the shooter Doom: The Dark Ages from id Software, the action-adventure game South of Midnight from Compulsion Games, the role-playing game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 from Sandfall Interactive, and one secret one.
The developers of Doom: The Dark Ages will stage a full gameplay demo, the creators of South of Midnight have prepared a detailed presentation, and the authors of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will reveal behind-the-scenes production details.
As for the surprise, the organizers of the future Developer_Direct promise a trip to an “unexpected location” and a look at a completely new game from another studio in addition to those listed.
Spanish insider eXtas1s, who predicted the appearance of Doom: The Dark Ages on Developer_Direct (according to him, the shooter will be released in May), allowed a presentation at the show of the rumored remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion from Virtuos.
The Developer_Direct broadcast will begin on January 23 at 21:00 Moscow time on the official Xbox channels. The timing is not specified, but last year’s show lasted about 45 minutes.
